Into Irish Drawing

This Panel Discussion brings together a selection of the artists participating in the Into Irish Drawing exhibition. The artists will discuss the processes they employ in drawing and the context of contemporary drawing in Ireland and internationally. Curator Caroline Hancock of Irish Museum of Modern Art will contribute a curatorial and contextual dialogue. Chairperson Jim Savage is himself exhibiting in the Into Irish Drawing exhibition.
Artists participants include Brian Fay, Timothy Emlyn Jones,  Bea Mcmahon,  Niamh O'Malley and Jim Savage.
Refreshments will be served at 1.30pm. The Panel Discussion begins at 2pm.

Participants Biogs:
Brian Fay Born in Drogheda, Lives and works in Dublin.
Caroline Hancock Lives and works in Dublin. Studied at Ecole du Louvre 1997. Current position Projects Curator at Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Timothy Emlyn Jones Born in the UK in 1948, lives in Kinvara, Co Galway and works in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare. He is Dean of Burren College of Art.
Bea Mcmahon Born in Bray in 1972, Lives and works in Dublin.Gallery: Green on Red Gallery Dublin.
Niamh O’Malley Born in Co Mayo in 1975, lives and works in Dublin . Gallery: Green on Red Gallery Dublin.
Jim Savage Born in Manchester, UK in 1950, lives and works in Aghabullogue Co Cork . Savage was a lecturer a Limerick School of Art & Design.
