IN A SPECIAL EVENT, MICHAEL WARREN WILL TALK AND DISCUSS HIS GROUND-BREAKING EXHIBITION - THOSE WHO GO / THOSE TO STAY

Against the backdrop of this majestic exhibition, Michael Warren will tackle the subject of source material - the 'inspiration' behind any work / body of art - and what lies behind the sculpture in the exhibition. Under this heading will fall a multitude of topics/issues - previous experience, materials, aesthetics, poetry, philosophy, architecture, art history, culture, cultural identity, etc.

 Biography of Michael Warren

Educated at St Columba’s College, Dublin, Michael Warren attended Bath Academy of Art, England, and Trinity College, Dublin, before completing his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano, Italy, in 1975. Over the past thirty years he has created challenging, outdoor public sculptures in Ireland internationally, and his art has been widely exhibited and is included in important collections worldwide. He lives and works in County Wexford, Ireland, and is represented by Hillsboro Fine Art, Dublin (www.hillsborofineart.com). (www.michaelwarren.ie)
