APRIL EVENTS  - 3rd, 5th, 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th


LCGA is participating in the Limerick Lifelong Learning Network (1st-7th April) with the theme coming from The Painting Show, curated by the British Council. 'Were curious about how and what we learn from the paintings that we see and from the artists who create them. 

Monday 3rd @ 1.15pm,  Join Artist Pauline Goggin in a coversation about encounters in learning for women, reflecting on themes emerging from The Painting Show.


Wednesday 5th @ 1.15pm,  Ainna Fawsett Hensey joins the conversation to explore her own recent encounters with learning, having just completed the MA in Creative Writing at University of Limerick. 


Thursday 6th @ 6pm,  Performance by ensembles "Cantoral" under Dr. Helen Phelan



Thursday 13th, 20th @ 6pm - OPEN O,

Performing Silence is a performance without and audience or performers.  

A meeting place between performance and reflection with Mary Nunan and Monica Spenser. 




Thursday 27th @ 6pm  - Official Exhibition Openings

by Dr. Óscar Mascareñas, 6-8pm 

Followed by a performance by poet and performer Óscar Mascareñas (Mexico/Ireland), and voice artist Steve Boyland (Liverpool), to celebrate Poetry Day Ireland 2017.

'Reconstructing Memory' by Clea van der Grijn 

The Graeve Collection, drawn from The Niland Collection and is presented in collaboration with The Model, home of The Niland Collection, Sligo.
